國際動物衛生規範與案例之收集，如同科技計畫之擬訂，資訊的可能來源包括：書籍、期刊、雜誌、資料庫及個人通訊等。但以網際網路為工具，前述資訊的收集，更為迅速與有效率。又網路所收集的資料，可以儲存及再處理，使資訊的再利用性更方便與簡易。平時瀏覽網際網路時，為便利其後資訊的收集與利用，宜隨時將各有價值的網址，依據資訊種類加以有效分類，甚而更應預為下載與留存，以備隨時瀏覽參閱之用。

本次工作報告，就所參與的三項科技研究計畫，以輸入風險分析資料收集、檢疫物檢疫條件之案例檢討（藍舌病及西尼羅病毒）為例，說明與檢討國際動物衛生規範與案例的收集方式，及其對動物衛生措施擬定的重要性。主要的參考網站亦加以列舉，方便同仁平時瀏覽參閱，或作為執行類似業務的參考。
